On October 22 Diana Sirunyan would become 17 if she wanted.
After learning about the death of her father, the head of Vano Siradeghyan’s guard Suren Sirunyan (August 15), she made a suicide attempt jumping from the 5th floor window. The doctors were unable to save her life, she died on August 22.
It’s 2 months that Dinok isn’t with us, it’s difficult for her friends to live with this idea, who lost a real, joyful, and warm-hearted friend, for the relatives who can’t believe in the loss till today. “To reach something in life, one must fight and never give in.” – she used to advise her friends. The teachers say that if she loved, she loved to the full, if she hated, she hated to the full, everything she did came from the bottom of her heart… she was cheerful.
“It seemed that nothing will suppress her in life. She used to say” I have seen so much since 12 that I am no more afraid of anything.” – the teachers remember her words. Her dream to become a lawyer remained unrealized, and generally many dreams are left half-done.
Diana was studying in the school N63 after Hambardzum Galstyan with high performance; she was ambitious, was sure of becoming a lawyer and was already taking private classes.
Grandpa Spartak remembers his beautiful granddaughter, who was different from others still in kindergarten. In 1997 Diana attended the kindergarten N 260. She loved dancing, reciting and painting.
In school she was performing with excellence. She wanted to enter the Faculty of Law in Yerevan State University.
Grandpa Spartak tells that Diana was impressed by March 1st events in 2008, when her father was also arrested and at that very time Diana entered the political struggle. She loved her father most of all, and was always saying she won’t live a day without her father. This thought she repeated in hospital “if you don’t save my father, I won’t live.
“Living without Dinok is impossible, impossible to stand the pain, may nobody feel this pain in the world.” Said grandpa Spartak.
Happy Birthday Dinok…
