Azerbaijani media reports that the American University’s Black Sea and Caspian Studies Centre has hosted an event on “Azerbaijan: strategic effect on meeting increasing demand in transport of natural gas to Europe”.
As reported, the discussion involved director of the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute Svante Cornell, head of transport and environment department of EU Office in US, Christian Burgsmuller, general director of BP’s global government and international relations department Greg Sounders and economic advisor of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the US, Nargiz Gurbanova.
At the end of the event, the participants familiarized with an exhibition on the energy history of Azerbaijan.
