Azerbaijani media reports that on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the restoration of independence of Azerbaijan, the United States has adopted a number of declarations and letters from governors, mayors, prosecutors and legislators.
As reported, on celebration of Independence Day of Azerbaijan on October 18 USAN members carried out a campaign which resulted in the declaration and the response from the Governor of Maryland, the Attorney General of Virginia, California Assembly, officials of Miami, Hallandale Beach and Miami-Dade County of Florida, according to the US Azeris Network (USAN).
The source informs that in the coming days USAN expects to receive additional declarations and letters from the states that have declared their readiness to congratulate the Azerbaijani Diaspora in America and the people of Azerbaijan on the Independence Day.
