Head of HCA Vanadzor Office Artur Sakunts, referring to the problems on screening Parada film, said in a conversation with “First News and Analyses”, “I think the failure of screening the film is a challenge for human rights.”
He noted that if there are some movies that can’t be shown because of the requirements of some group (a group that obviously has sponsors), then the police is doomed to failure.
“The recipient of this matter is police prefect. What they did and what should they do to have the movie, which actually does not contain any sermon, be shown? I think this is a shame. If the authorities do not realize, at least I realize it, and our organization will provide its territory for the film screening.” concluded human rights activist Arthur Sakunts
Recall that Parada film is based on gay rights. Screening of this film was failed in several institutions.
