Former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian on October 17 wrote another note on his Facebook page, indicating that foreign aid and investments of the Diaspora to Armenia are dependent on many necessary reforms, and along with several factors he mentioned the termination of “Millennium Challenge” program.
Taking into account the recent actions of legislative authorities towards V. Oskanian, as well as his quite clear behavior in the RPA-PAP relations, however, it should be admitted that it was not a good idea for Oskanian to raise this question, because the decision to suspend the “Millennium Challenge” program was made during the time when he was in power, as a result of mistakes made on the well-known cases of March 1-2, 2008.
