On October 16 in Moscow Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia Armen Eritsyan met with his Russian counterpart Vladirmir Puchkov. This was reported by Emergency Situations Ministry.
During the meeting, the ministers signed a protocol on intentions to establish a centre for Russian-Armenian humanitarian aid. The main task of the center is to provide humanitarian response in emergency situations.
According to the protocol, a working group composed of representatives of Armenian and Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations will be established.
Mr.Eritsyan invited Puchkov to visit Armenia, what the latter gladly accepted.
“Just yesterday, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry allotted an office to the representatives of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. A joint command was also signed so that our countries share information on crisis management centers on daily basis. This cooperation has great prospects and major works are still to be done, “said Armen Eritsyan.
