The Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan wrote in his Facebook-page.
“It is no secret that in 2006-2007, at that time still operating foreign minister Vardan Oskanian had hopes to become the President and made great efforts.
Pashinyan’s interview in the fall of 2006 was perceived by political circles as openly revealed presidential ambitions. And at that time the incumbent member of RA government allowed such expressions, after which every respectful official should resign and fight against that “regime”.
But it turns out that he continued in office for another 1.5 years, being part of the government, with which he was “so displeased.”
Now Oskanian is looking for support, but Armenian society, like the U.S. society, does not like losers.”
