On October 17th deputy president of NA Edward Sharmazabov took part in the summit of inter parlimantary assembli of CIS countries on preventing violations of human rights and crimes in cyber territeroy and gave a speech.
He noted that inside CIS there are states countries where racism is encouraged. “Today Azerbaijani military rhetoric is more frequent, whereas Armenia longs for peace. In spring of this year the Azerbaijani president announced that Armenians all over the world are their enemies.”
Then Sharmazanov raised the issue of Ramil Safarov’s extradition who had killed Armenian officer in sleep. “It is remarkable that even during trial the advocate announced that killing an Armenian is not a crime in Azerbaijan. Pardoning a murderer is the greatest proof of xenophobia.”
Ending his speech Sharmazanov assured once more that Armenia as well as many CSTO states have chosen the path of tolerance and democracy, but not the way of xenophobic stagnation.
