“When a month ago my guest from Europe announced that if proper conditions are created in Armenia, many would come and set up business here, I disagreed with him. Our state cries all the time “come home”, speaks of necessity of investments and of creating proper conditions for them. The one who really wants, will come, I contradicted. And when many young people form the USA insisted that they dream of coming to Armenia and open a business, I started doubting myself. May be they really call, but do everything that Diaspora doesn’t come back.”- writes “Hraparak” in editorial and adds.
“Those coming from Europe and USA say that Armenians would prefer to come to Armenia, start a business, create workplaces even if they have to earn less and work more.
My guest said “There are just 2 million people. If 100 rich Diaspora members are allowed, the country will prosper.” Not surely. But the person did know Diaspora, had large acquaintances. What to do for our “come home” urge to come to have a real content. How to accommodate our legal and tax field for them to come and start business or what to do ti disturb those who don’t want diaspora to return.”
