The issues of deepening of relations between Brussels and Tbilisi and the current situation in Georgia will be discussed at the committee meeting of the EU-Georgia cooperation. It is scheduled for October 19.
Today the delegation of the Georgian government will leave to Brussels to participate in the meeting.It includes Acting Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Internal Affairs, as well as of the state minister for reintegration.
Among the members of the delegation are the representatives of the “Georgian Dream” coalition. In particular, the candidate for the post of Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaniani.
It is planned to consider a number of issues in the framework of the visit. Among them, conducted reforms in Georgia and the Russian-Georgian relations, also simplification of the visa regime and deepening of trade cooperation with the EU.
