By the decision, made today, October 16, by Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan Major-General Lyova Mnatsakanyan is appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. This was reported by the President’s press office.
Recall that on September 6, according to Serzh Sargsyan’s decree, Lieutenant-General Arshaluys Paytyan was dismissed of the post of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
Paytyan was responsible for the procurement and arms, and for implementation of a number of other important functions related to financial matters.
Leva Mkhitaryan was born on 14.09.1965, in NKR region of Askeran. He was appointed First Deputy Commander of NKR Defense Army Chief of Staff.
