On October 16, the president of National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine in Armenia Ivan Kukhta.
Hovik Abrahamyan praised the high level of inter-state relations and the importance of inter-parliamentary ties, cooperation of international organizations and development of cooperation in science, education, and economic spheres. It was noted that the meeting of the Inter-Governmental Committee will be held in November this year in Yerevan.
The two sides emphasized the importance of activation of relations between the two countries at different levels, also referred to other issues of mutual importance. Mr. Kukhta presented the NA President the political situation in Ukraine on October 28 before the parliamentary election.
