For assessment and maintenance of cultural heritage, tourism development and cooperation a number of issues were discussed between Yerevan mayor’s advisor Aram Sukiasyan and the responsible for international cooperation in tourism of Regional Council of Ile de France region Sumi El Yamin.
Welcoming the guests, Mr. Sukiasyan noted that coefficient and friendly ties between Armenia and France, as well as governments of Ile de France and Yerevan can be a firm basis for the implementation of joint projects, particularly for maintenance of cultural heritage.
“Yerevan City Hall, on behalf of Mayor Taron Margaryan ,is always ready to discuss joint interest projects. The capital is developing day by day and it increases the flow of tourists.” noted Aram Sukiasyan and added that this year the city was recognized by UNESCO as World Book Capital, which also testifies the fact that Yerevan has great potential for tourism development.
Expressing his gratitude for the hospitality, El Yamin said that while participating in series of events and celebrations of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2794” noticed broad prospects for tourism development and expressed his willingness to support.
