On October 16-18 delegation led by the defense minister of the Republic of Italy Jiampaolo Di Paola will visit Armenia.
Meetings with the RA President S. Sargsyan, Defense Minister Ohanian and Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian are scheduled.
The Defense Ministry’s press office informed “First News and Analyses” they will discuss that the meeting Armenian-Italian bilateral cooperation in the field of defense and regional security-related issues.
It is scheduled to sign an agreement “between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Italy on defense cooperation”. During the visit, the delegation is supposed to visit Etchmiadzin and meet with the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
