Azerbaijani media reports that the construction of TANAP gas pipe will be started in 2013 and completed at the end of 2017 or early in 2018. That is TANAP pipe will be ready to transport gas from Shah Deniz.
Director of Investor Relations Department of the SOCAR Parviz Babayev told APA that in future, transportation opportunities of TANAP can be extended due to transportation from other fields: ‘The governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey give big support to the project’.
He noted that this pipe passes through the territory of 27 municipalities in Turkey.
