In the political field, team members of the RA President Serzh Sargsyan and the RA second President Robert Kocharian are everywhere, another thing is when the representatives of the first one are more in one party than of the second one. This was stated by the ANC International expert Edgar Vardanyan in the conversation with “First News and Analyses”, answering the question whether it is possible to clarify the political field.
The expert noted that in the formal aspect players of the political field s can be very vulnerable in case of wearing masks. However, he reported that their security comes from the fact that the clan field players know each other and act accordingly. He also stressed that “Oskanian’s case” is directly related to inter-government redistribution process of resources.
“Today, Sargsyan with his team is trying to strengthen their position in the long term, probably understanding that it can be done only in case of keeping key resources in their hands. But the President, of course, cannot and does not want to keep all in his hands, so he’s ready to recognize the players gathered under PAP brand. Logic of all this can be assume that for Serzh Sargsyan PAP “opposition” party is profitable, which after the “elections” will receive its “solid” place and then take its share, “commented Edgar Vardanyan.
Political analyst thinks that putting pressure on Oskanian, Sargsyan wants to contribute to the PAP’s image of being oppressed.
