Official sources report that the leader of the parliamentary faction of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Armenia – Iran Galust Sahakyan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) to Armenia Muhammad Reis.
According to the information, during the meeting a wide range of issues of Armenian-Iranian relations in various fields – political, economic and cultural were discussed.
Ambassador Muhammad Reis expressed hope to organize mutually beneficial strategic programs in the field of economics, and the resolution of problems on the agenda of the coming meeting of the intergovernmental commission. New members of the parliamentary Iran – Armenia group were introduced.
They issues of parliamentary cooperation, political and economic issues and regional development were also discussed.
