On October 15th the head of ARP fraction in NA, the head of Armenia-Iran parliamentary friendship team Galust Sahakyan had a meeting with the ambassador extraordinary plenipotentiary of Iran to Armenia Mohammad Reisi.
Greeting the ambassador, Galust Sahakyan assured that as the former ambassadors, Mr. Reisi as well won’t feel lack of warmth in Armenia. The strong ties between two countries support the cooperation in political, economic and cultural relations.
ARP fraction head informed that during many years he has been the head of Armenia-Iran parliamentary friendship team and has always acted in favor of constructive and profitable cooperation.
“We want Iran to solve its problems soon. The stability of Iran will ensure the deepening of our relations.”-said Galust Sahakyan.
The ambassador of Iran expressed his gratitude on warm reception and assured he has the same prospective of developing relations with Armenia. He expressed hope that profitable strategic programs will be executed which will be discussed in coming inter-governmental commission’s session.
During the meeting questions were discussed on parliamentary cooperation, issues concerning political and economic relations as well as regional matters.
