US ambassador to Armenia John Heffern represented one more video blog on the subject of businesswomen.
The ambassador told that together with his wife he has attended some ceremonies the aims of which were the progress of women’s inclusion in business. The ambassador noted: “The US Embassy works with active civil organizations which try to increase women’s role in business, agriculture and market society. No country can afford not using the half of its talents in case when Armenian women are very talented.”
According to Heffern’s words there must be competitiveness, transparency of taxes and just judicial system to include women in business. The ambassador noted that the US Embassy along with USAID have created several programs for supporting women in business.
