During the discussions of international affairs in the framework of the summit of The International Organization of the Francophonie taking place in Kinshasa, on October 13th Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan gave a speech.
He specifically stressed Karabakh issue in his speech. He noted that Armenia has been always longing for the peaceful resolution of the conflict along with internationally accredited mediator OSCE Minsk Group and its co-chairing states Russia, USA France. The main points of this position are offered to include in the final resolution of the summit. Unfortunately Azerbaijan goes on contradicting to international public and refuses the offers of the mediators directed to the resolution of the conflict.
On October 14th the final resolution was accepted on the solutions on critical situations and the establishment of peace, where the IOF member states signed their support tfor the efforts of OSCE Minsk Group on the peaceful resolution of NKR conflict.
“We urge all the parties to refrain from power abuse and be guided by peaceful methods of OSCE Minsk Group, namely not using force, protecting territorial completeness, and directing by equality of nations.”-says the final resolution of 14th Francophonie summit.
