Armenian “Hayazn” union has spread an announcement concerning Syrian-Armenians. The announcement particularly read:
“All of us know that in Syria, especially in Aleppo city, the living conditions are terrible and very dangerous. There are a lot of Syrian-Armenians who want to leave the country but because of the documents they can’t do that. We urge our government to do the appropriate steps in order to support Syrian-Armenians. We know that is out of our law but they can’t stay there any more, the tensions are deepening and every second is worth-full. We must give them Armenian passports as soon as possible. Our government has said that if the situation wouldn’t be changed they would do the appropriate steps but the situation is not only the same but it is even worse than it was before. We require the government to provide Syrian-Armenians with Armenian passports!” was written in the statement.
