On October 12 Raffi Hovhannisian announced his viewpoint on Khachatur Kokobelyan, condemning him as a liar.
“Khachatur Kokobelyan personally published his lie, moreover, his ordinal one, for which I am greatly sorry.
I feel sorry for those wonderful, promising youth, from “Free Democrats”, “Heritage” and the currents, who have dedicated themselves to the previous campaign.
The fight was not a mistake. It was a novelty, somewhat risky, but solid.
The mistake is only of one person and unjustified confidence of others in a “man” and in his speech. That one, if ever was, now it is absent.
I could remain silent out of political expediency. After waiting patiently, however, I preferred to proclaim the truth as a need to my fellow citizens.
And at the end, it is not desirable to support him in any issue.”
