Turkish senior diplomat recognized Armenian Genocide. Today this was reported by the president of The Forum Of Armenian Associations Of Europe Ashot Grigoryan. He noted that he had started a criminal trial in Slovakian prosecution against the ambassador of Turkey to Slovakia Gyulhan Uluteq, who tried to deny the fact of Armenian Genocide in Slovakia.
The ambassador announced in the article named “Armenians, Mikloshko and Harabin” that naming the events Genocide is a serious and suspicious step. A criminal affair started against her on the grounds of denying the evil done against humanity. Denying Armenian Genocide is a crime and supposes punishments of 3 and 5 years in case of conscious and unconscious denial correspondingly. Thus, the ambassador was obliged to take back her words saying that she didn’t speak against Genocide.
“It means that Turkish diplomat recognizes the Genocide”- said A. Grigoryan and on this occasion the forum sent letter of gratitude to Turkish Foreign Ministry.
In the framework of this law criminal affairs are in process in Russia Azerbaijan and in Armenia against Slovakian ambassador Joseph Migash, which is likely to become a great scandal.
A. Grigoryan informed that with the president of Slovakian Supreme Court, former deputy PM and minister of Justice Stefan Harabin they will leave for France to negotiate with Armenian sector and understand what to do to pass the law referring to the denial of Genocide as a criminal case.
