The 14th inter-governmental session of economic cooperation between Republic of Armenia and Russian Federation took place in RA government’s house of receptions.
Greeting the participants, RA PM congratulated newly-appointed head of Russian commission Maxim Sokolov. “I am sure that our joint efforts and cooperation will reinforce the relations between the two nations. Economic cooperation has a great significance for Armenian economy.”- mentioned the PM.
Stressing the progress in economic cooperation Tigran Sargsyan informed that RA-RF trade circulation has increased by 23% in the first half of the year.
The PM appreciated the export of Armenian products and services to Russia, which has increased by 50% in comparison with the previous year
Referring to the realization of mutual programs, the Tigran Sargsyan highlighted the efforts of “Sitronics” company and “Yerevan mathematician machines scientific-explorative institute” for creating free economic regions. ”This program can become the main component of the cooperation”- said Tigran Sargsyan.
Russian delegation head Maxim Sokolov stressed that the cooperation is based on mutual agreement, which highly assists further development of economic, cultural cooperation.”
The press service of “First Armenian News and Analysis” report discussions were held on cooperation perspectives in transportation, connection, information technologies, agriculture and other spheres.
By the end of the meeting Tigran Sargsyan and Maxim Sokolov signed Long-term economic cooperation program till 2020
