Till the end of the year the Republican party will invite an extraordinary session where it will be announced of the candidacy of the incumbent RA president, ARP leader Serzh Sargsyan. Today, on October 11th after ARP executive session announced ARP press secretary Edward Sharmazanov.
Referring to the talks that Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan have secret meetings and that the president has given him time for reflecting, Sharmazanov said that this is from the row of nonsense. “Nobody has put deadlines; there are no agreements, even if they meet, there is nothing surprising, as Gagik Tsarukyan is member of National Security Service and meetings on these grounds are not excluded.”- he said.
Edward Sharmazanov announced that PAP’s position is up to them and they have announced that when time comes, they will express their position. He also refused the news that a campaign has started against former PAP officials.
PM Tigran Sargsyan was absent and it was said that those not present have valid reasons.
