Zaruhi Bostanjyan, MP from “Heritage” party, had an interview with “Aravot” and said that PAP can’t have an oppositional candidate since their actions are not those of an oppositional party’s actions.
To the question whether Vartan Oskanian will have any chance in the presidential elections if he is nominated, Bostanjyan responded:
“I don’t want to do any predictions since it is not in my responsibility to comment on other parties’ activities, but one thing I can say for sure that PAP can’t be an oppositional figure, since there are a lot of oligarchs in the party, and they are part of the authorities, so how can they be an oppositional?”
The journalist of the daily then asked her to comment on the action which was done from PAP to support ANC activists.
“All these are done for the upcoming elections. I want to stress once again that there are oligarchs in the party and they are part of the authorities. This is the fact. So they can’t act like an oppositional side.”
