Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development said on Wednesday that Azerbaijan and Hungary signed a protocol following the third session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
According to the information the document was signed by co-chairmen of the intergovernmental commission – Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev and Hungarian State Secretary Peter Szijjarto.
The cooperation will be in the fields of education, science and culture.
The parties touched upon issues of industry, agriculture, construction, transport, mutual investment, information and communication technologies, trade, culture and environment.
“At present, a strong legal basis has been created for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary. The two countries signed some 30 documents on various areas of cooperation.” Mustafayev said.
Szijjarto added that the development of relations with Azerbaijan is very important for Hungary.
