The head of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan on October 10 met the representatives of civil society institutions: network of non-governmental organizations.
Koryun Nahapetyan praised the fourth convocation of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the National Assembly and Public network, and highlighted real, substantive and purposeful activation and continuation of cooperation. He expressed readiness to do everything to provide effective and tense cooperation.
According to the assessment of the Commission’s Chairman, information technology, internet connection, the daily work of the organization will be agreed by more work, persistence and willingness to solve problems.
Representative of the public sector organizations voiced a number of problems, which are mostly related to military service, vicious phenomenon in the Army, condition of disabled soldiers during the service. Koryun Nahapetian suggested raising all those issues in written justifications, which can become a base to make amendments in the relevant laws.
