“Heritage” party press service informed that today in No. 1 constituency of Avan and Nor Nork communities General Secretary of “Heritage” party Styopa Safaryan was nominated by the majority as a candidate for the National Assembly elections.
Note that the mandate of the deputy in No. 1 district was left vacant when Republican Ruben Hayrapetyan refused the mandate after the incident with the death of military doctor Vahe Avetisyan in “Harsnaqar” restaurant.
Nominations deadline is October 18, at 18:00 o’clock. Elections will be held on December 2.
RPA will nominate in No. 1 constituency Mayor Taron Margaryan’s brother-in-law, Robert Sargsyan’s candidacy. Journalist Artak Yeghiazaryan and political scientist Artak Hovhannisyan, who previously expressed intention to run, will not run.
