The change of the potential leader of Georgia will not necessarily be a positive point for Russia. This opinion expressed Director of the Center for Political Information Alexei Mukhin, at a regular meeting of the Moscow “Rosbalt” political club on “Updated Georgia – economic partner or foe for Russia?”
“Changing the potential leader of Georgia is a positive sign for Russia, but only one “point”, because Ivanishvili has rather indirect attitude towards Russia ” – said Mukhin.
According to him, almost all Georgian oligarchs made their fortunes in Russia, and it imposes “a certain moral imprint on the Georgian-Russian moral and ethical relationship: Georgians feel obliged to Russia, but do not want to admit it.”
“This duality is a cruel joke in bilateral relations: the combination of “Ponte” and the inferiority complex gives devastating effect,” – said Mukhin.
Recall that, on the basis of counting of protocols, billionaire and head of “Georgian Dream” coalition Bidzina Ivanishvili has won the parliamentary elections in Georgia, by 54.85% of the vote.
