On September 24th Uzbekistani citizen Zamirzhon Otazhonov turned to RA legal service saying that he is ready to execute explosions in the Azerbaijani capital for 20 thousand dollars. He explained as if he had worked in one of the Baku construction agencies but the latter refused to pay resulting in hatred in him against the Azerbaijani.
The press service of National Security Service reports that as a result of operational and intelligence activities it was found out that he is directed by Azerbaijani special services and his actions are nothing else but instigation. The aim of Azerbaijan was to discredit Armenia in international arena representing it as a terror-encouraging country.
Otazhonov was sent to Armenia by Azerbaijani authorities in the difficult political phase of Ramil Safarov’s extradition.
Thus, Azerbaijani corresponding bodies tried to use Otazhonov to suppress the flow of complaints around Safarov by international public. Azerbaijan took the step despite the fact that Armenia has many times condemned and proved its being against any kind of terror.
Otazhonov was exiled from Armenia.
