The Georgian Dream began to work on an amnesty bill, candidate for the post of Minister of Corrections Sozar Subari told reporters on Tuesday.
“Georgia ranks first in the world by the number of prisoners. This distorted system has to be changed, and probation and suspended sentences should play a role in it,” he said.
Subari says that the public participation will further increase, intensify and become much more efficient in the commission on parole.
