Recently, citizen of Kapan, R. Avetisyan, when gathering mushrooms in the woods of Vahanavank, found in the meteorite. In the conversation with reporters Avetisyan’s son said that the found stone has the characteristic features of meteorite. It is rusty, dark brown, the surface is with plaits and holes, and the arrow deviates when you hold compass close to it. Note that the meteorite split into parts because of the blow.
The biggest piece of the mass is 80 grams. During the year thousands of meteorite fall on the Earth’s surface, but very few of them are in the hands of scientists. It is of great scientific value.
