On October 9, the President of the RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus in Armenia Stepan Sukhorenko.
During the meeting they discussed bilateral cooperation, the development of inter-related parliamentary ties and other issues of mutual interest. They highlighted the importance of strengthening the role of inter-parliamentary ties. The ambassador informed the NA President of the Belarusian parliamentary elections and recent political developments, adding that the newly elected parliament’s first session will take place on October 18.
