David Harutyunyan, head of the Armenian delegation in PACE, today made a speech in NA concerning Oskanian’s case. “First of all I want to stress that I’m for the political and moral responsibility. If Oskanian is guilty he must take responsibility for it. I can’t comment and say my opinion concerning the case since I’m not familiar with it. ”
Zaruhi Bostanjyan, member of the delegation, MP from “Heritage” party, stressed that Oskanian is not guilty at all and added that the petition which was suggested from Aghvan Hovsepyan (General Prosecutor of Armenia) didn’t include any facts.
“I must recall that Jirayr Sefilyan was also accused but the National Security Service broke 2 laws, and they must be punished. The one who ordered the NSS and the ones who were obeying must be prisoned, but not the person who is not guilty. If Oskanian’s case will be continued we will raise it in PACE.”
