Harut Sassounian, publisher-editor of “California Courier” daily today had a press conference and talked about Armenia’s foreign policy and especially about Diaspora.
“I do see that our government tries to do something in order to have strong ties with our Diaspora, but I’m sure that the efforts are not enough. As you know our Diaspora is very large, and they are situated all over the world. I suggest to create a Foreign Council which will involved only in the issues connected with the Diaspora. The members of the Parliament will be selected from the communities. I’m sure that in this way it will be easier for us to continue working with them. To tell the truth it will be very difficult to do so, but in case we succeed, we will be able to work with them very easily. We must unite Armenia, NKR and Diaspora!” stressed Sassounian.
