“Let’s not forget that first of all the party not interested in the establishment of democratic institutions in our country is West. Congress himself had many times faced the fact that West is not developing democratic institutions here, but uses this tool to follow its interests in the region. Let’s not forget how much efforts the USA has taken to split ANC, namely the reports of deputy ambassador Joseph Pennington to the state department where he says how awful anti-democratic system rules in Armenia.”- said ANC MP in NA Lyudmila Sargsyan in the interview with “168 hours”.
She added. “The format is too simple, West tolerates even encourages the regime, because they control the influential leaders of the regime that gives chance to reach necessary decisions in Armenian-Turkish relations or to take hold of our natural resources through their organizations which is against Armenian interests.”
