“As less than 3 months is left for officially running candidacies in presidential elections, the main political powers must somehow prepare the society. “This approach is logical for me, but there is also an approach saying that it’s good to keep secret as long as possible. Anyhow, the first president has no way out than running his candidacy; otherwise Congress will no more exist as a joint power. ANC leaders see only Levon Ter-Petrosyan as higher among them, they will accept no other candidacy. It is of interest to note that key figure of PAP Vartan Oskanyan also spoke on this subject, who said that PAP must by all means run its own candidate, and it is desirable that Gagik Tsarukyan were this candidate, but if not he is ready to take up the role.
