The Minister of Science and Education Armen Ashotyan, referring to interview of PAP member Vartan Oskanian at the 2013 presidential elections, wrote on his “Facebook” page that it is reprehensible to use the policy in this case as a shield or a sword in the attack, especially if the person has the ambition to run for the presidential elections in the near future.
“How would say Julius Caesar “Caesar’s wife must be above suspicion”- he writes, adding that his partner had tried several times to play the character of “politically persecuted”, “hunted”, “castigated” person.
Recall that Vartan Oskanian said today that he believes his party should represent its own candidate at the election and “first of all, the candidate must be the leaderof the party Gagik Tsarukyan. And if Tsarukyan won’t like to run his candidacy, then he is ready to assume this responsibility.
Addressing this question, Ashotyan arites. “Something tells us it is unnatural, which does not coincide with the reality. And efforts are ineffective.”
