One of the Armenian news pages has recently addressed PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, asking for his comments about the fact that last week political and media circles interpreted their silence as an intention to leave alone Vardan Oskanian.
Gagik Tsarukyan answered the question, noting, “Last week I was out of Armenia for issues, planned in advance. I was abroad. And to the question of the mentioned circles I will answer with a question, do some really think that the meeting, the council’s tough statement, the actions and decisions of the fraction and speeches of our MPs, consultations with other factions, attracting the best lawyers, activities of our active members in the PACE, the increase of urgency of Oskanian’s issue was without my knowledge or assignment. I think you know the answer better than me.”
