Maya Panjikidze, candidate for the post of Foreign Minister in Georgia, during the interview said that Georgia’s foreign policy vector will not be changed.
She said that Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic Integration is the choice of the Georgian people adding that the U.S. remains Georgia’s strategic partner and these relations will be further strengthened.
“We must not forget the neighbors. There must be any relations with Russia. It is impossible to resolve a problem for one or two days. Several years may be required. The areas of common interest must be revealed. The operations must begin in this direction. It is impossible to resolve the issue of the country’s territorial integrity without establishing the relations with Russia, but Russia must know that three embassies and 20 percent occupied territories can’t exist in Georgia. Restoring integrity is a priority.” stressed Panjikidze
