Recently, the media, particularly the Internet news websites publish information on events of exploitation and human trafficking. Some of these articles on this subject indicate that the trafficking cases, identified by law enforcement agencies, have not been represented by the real picture, including child trafficking.
Police media department reported that the publications based on the analysis indicate that the information of the articles mainly refer to 2004-2009. These cases are almost exclusively known by the law enforcement agencies.
During the first half of 2012 generally 15 crime cases were found on exploitation and trafficking. Out of nine filed cases, 5 cases referred to the exploitation of women in prostitution.
