Styopa Safaryan, member of “Heritage” party, had a meeting with journalists and talked about the conflict which is between Robert Kocharyan (Second president of Armenia) and Serzh Sargsyan (Current President).
“The main question is whether Sargsyan will give the post to Kocharyan, from whom he got the post. I should stress that after the last scandal, concerning Vartan Oskanian (PAP), I became sure that the authority in the future will still belong to the Republicans, since they had a “victory” over PAP, withdrawing Oskanian from MP mandate. I was carefully reading the statement made by Kocharyan, concerning Oskanian’s case and I realized that his announcement was a ceasefire. He agreed that Republicans are more powerful.”
