“Prosperous Armenia” faction boycotted the National Assembly today. As said yesterday the PAP secretary Naira Zohrabyan, after the decision of the General Prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan on lifting Vardan Oskanian’s political immunity, they will leave the room.
Today at the discussion of reports of the RA Central Bank and 2011 budget they were not present. These projects will probably be put to vote. It is known that the PAP has constantly criticized the government’s economic activity, and the boycott for Oskanian gives an opportunity not to participate in the discussions and votings of these reports.
By the way, 2013 budget will be discussed, and PAP boycott may be a good reason to avoid the discussion and to make an attempt to fail the adoption of the budget. PAP spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan had a conversation with “First News and Analyses” and recalled N. Zohrabyan’s statement that “they will additionally inform about the next meetings.”
