Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan met the Shaukad Mohammed Emin, Mayor of Iraqi Dohuk region, and Abdullah Demir Bashir, head of Diyarbakir Sur district, who came to Armenia to participate in the ceremony of opening the temple in the in the village of Armavir region Aknalich.
Welcoming the guests, the mayor presented the prospects for the development of the capital, economic reforms in the various and steps urban infrastructures and improvement of the management system, noting that Yerevan has broad prospects for development.
They thanked for the warm welcome and shared their impressions about Yerevan. The guests also expressed hope that the community relations and partnerships can provide a favorable environment for the development.
Mayor Taron Margaryan appreciated the willingness of guests to discuss the terms of the cooperation.
“First News and Analyses” was informed that the interlocutors also talked about different intercultural aspects and purchased agreement to develop joint projects.
