Azerbaijani media, citing the announcement of the spokesman for the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Elman Abdullayev , reports that Azerbaijani Embassy in Switzerland, has sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, protesting the illegal visit of Swiss deputies to the “occupied territories of Azerbaijan”.
Abdullayev said that though the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland confirms this fact, it seems the visit was of personal character.
As reported, Swiss MFA has made another statement on “recognition of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan”.
Note, the delegation led by the Swiss parliamentarians Ueli Leuenberger and Dominique de Buman, together with the members of Armenian friendship group, earlier visited Nagorno-Karabakh.
