George Linn, US Councilor to Armenia, yesterday said that the new lottery project «Diversity Visa-2014” has already started.
We should recall that by this project, every year, 50.000 people get U.S citizenship, leave their countries and continue their lives in U.S.
They are doing this in order to populate the places where there are few people.
According to the reports of 2013, 1200 Armenians won the lottery and visited U.S, and by the results of 2012; 998 Armenians.
The same thing is being done from Russian side. As you know there are a lot of places in Russia which are not populated.
So, by the law, adopted on September 15, Russia provides all the south Caucasus people, who want to leave in Russia, with everything.
What do we have as a result? Both Russia and U.S attract Armenians and they leave our nation. That’s why year by year fewer Armenians stay in our country.
