“I have one question-wouldn’t it be better of National Security Service dealt with Safarov case for instance upon which Azerbaijani broadcasters touched since 2011”, Executive director of Civilitas Foundation Salbi Ghazarian asked this to journalists briefing on NSS accusations directed to Civilitas. “Wouldn’t it be better they dealt with other bigger issues indicated by the President versus this “dirty” case of “money laundering” while they themselves are engaged in”, questioned Ms. Ghazarian rhetorically.
Recall that Civilitas Foundation is now on trial for money laundering the case being heard by Armenia’s court of first instance. Also note that Civilitas rejects the accusation.
