Foreign Affairs Ministry of Hungary sent a note to RA MFA with an expectation to reestablish diplomatic relations with Armenia. Armenpress news agency referring to the official website of Hungarian MFA, reports that the note is signed on 24th of September.
“The ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary wishes to declare the interest of the Government of Hungary to end the unilateral suspension of diplomatic relations by the Government of Armenia. The MFA of Hungary avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the MFA of Armenia the assurances of its highest consideration”.
On 31st of August, Armenia suspended the diplomatic relations with Hungary after the Hungarian side extradited Ramil safarov to Azerbaijan, who in 2004 killed the Armenian officer, Gourgen Margaryan.
