President Serzh Sargsyan received the Fund for Armenian Relief, led by the head of the U.S. Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Eminence Archbishop of the Armenian Relief Fund Parsamian.
The President praised patriotic activities of the Armenian Relief Fund, stressing that it was with Armenia during the most difficult moments. The President welcomed the fact that the fund plans to gradually replace its development assistance programs, which the Head believes that it is important for the development of the country. Serzh Sargsyan, on behalf of himself and all the people, thanked the FAR’s leadership, staff and all the donors who make possible donations for the existence of the fund.
“The aim of everyone is to have developed, strong state and united nation to build good Armenia. Diaspora is strong with the help of Armenia, and is strong with the help of its Diaspora, “said President Serzh Sargsyan.
At the FAR meeting the Chairman Randy Sapah –Gulyan presented the President the main directions of a variety of fund programs and activities. They discussed the issues of the economy and of domestic and foreign policy.
